Frequently asked questions
Everything you might want to know before installing AxiomTool.
Is AxiomTool a browser extension?
No. It is a bookmarklet, which means it lives in your bookmarks bar as a simple JavaScript bookmark. There is nothing to install from a store, no permissions to approve, and nothing running in the background.
Does AxiomTool have access to my private keys or funds?
No. The bookmarklet runs entirely in your browser and only interacts with the page you are already logged into. It never reads private keys, never signs transactions on your behalf, and never touches your wallet beyond what you explicitly click.
Which browsers are supported?
Any modern browser that supports bookmarks: Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. If you can drag a link to your bookmarks bar, you can use AxiomTool.
Will it work if Axiom updates their interface?
We monitor Axiom's frontend closely and push updates whenever the UI changes. If you ever notice the overlay not appearing, just re-drag the bookmark from this page and you will be on the latest version.
Is AxiomTool free?
Yes. AxiomTool is completely free and open-source. There is no premium tier, no subscription, and no hidden fees. The source is available on GitHub for anyone who wants to audit it.
Is AxiomTool affiliated with Axiom?
No. AxiomTool is an independent, community-built project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Axiom in any way.
What happens if I delete the bookmark?
Nothing breaks. AxiomTool only exists as the bookmark itself. If you delete it, the tool is simply uninstalled. To use it again, re-drag the Axiom button from the homepage.
Can I use AxiomTool on multiple devices?
Yes. Simply install the bookmarklet on each device independently. Your presets are stored locally per browser, so you will need to configure them on each device the first time.
Does AxiomTool work on mobile?
Mobile browsers do not support bookmarklets in the same way as desktop browsers. AxiomTool is designed primarily for desktop use. A mobile companion app is on the roadmap for Q4.
Where do I report a bug or request a feature?
You can reach out through the support page or open an issue on GitHub. Community feedback drives the roadmap.
